Who's Fuzzy?

Chris about photo.jpg

Fuzzy Wuzzy Design is the brainchild of Christian Markovic, a remarkable man who challenges his physical limitations by using his artistic and creative talent; he is driven by his everlasting spirit to persevere. At the age of two, Christian was diagnosed with hearing loss, and at thirteen, he began to lose his sight and mobility. Christian was diagnosed with a neurological disorder called Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT), and by the age of twenty, he became legally blind. To learn more about CMT - its symptoms and origins - visit the CMTA website

Nonetheless, Christian became the first deaf graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and holds a B.A. in Fine Arts. His work has been shown at the Credit Suisse Gallery in New York City and the Pierro Gallery in South Orange, New Jersey.  He is also one of the primary artists at Arts Unbound in Orange, New Jersey. Some of Christian’s corporate customers are Harlem Day Charter School, Bright Horizons Day Care Centers, and the United Way Foundation.

Christian works on a Macintosh computer using a zoom program that enlarges his work ten times the size of his originals.  He uses a CCATV, which enables him to read any information that he needs.

Due to Christian’s disabilities, finding work after graduating college was virtually impossible, so he decided to start his own business.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Design began in 2003 with a unique line of greeting cards created and designed by Christian. Due to its overwhelming success, he decided to expand his business into clothing and accessories.
